This project was designed while I was part of the design team at Connie Young Design, in collaboration with Create Construction Management Group.

Located on Calgary’s vibrant 17th Ave SW, UNA Pizza + Wine transforms 1,500 sq. ft. into an inviting dining space that balances efficiency and atmosphere. One of the primary design challenges was optimizing the narrow footprint to accommodate 80 seats while maintaining an open, welcoming feel. The project exemplifies the power of collaborative teamwork, resulting in a seamless blend of function and ambiance.

The Connie Young Design team contributed to space planning and execution, ensuring that seating capacity was maximized while preserving the restaurant’s signature aesthetic and guest experience.

UNA Pizza + Wine successfully delivers a thoughtfully designed space that meets both operational and customer needs. The project’s success led to continued collaborations, resulting in additional locations in Bridgeland, Gateway (Calgary), Banff, and Saskatoon.
